Cinco de Mayo - 5-6 coves of death

And so we come to the infamous 5 times round the cove, to celebrate the Mexicans beating the French.  I arrived a cove late, and felt so guilty that I did an extra one.  McCall and Melissa joined the invincible duo of Michelle and Karah, while Morgan showed her wetsuit-clad class by forging ahead of the pack.

Lynn was doing a fine job piloting the zodiac, and protected us from the very large male seal who enjoyed rolling around near us on the very last loop.

We crawled behind the Balclutha and the new beautiful wooden boat that was refurbished - what's it called again?  It's always exciting to slide past barnacle-clad hulls and gangplanks, especially when the drag-racing SERC women's sprint open water team is fighting you for every inch of space.

We then retired to the best bbq I've had at SERC.  Unbelievable meat and fish and sauces and salads, and beer, and tequila.
